The complex organic molecular content in the L1517B starless core

چکیده

Recent observations of the pre-stellar core L1544 and younger starless L1498 have revealed that complex organic molecules (COMs) are enhanced in gas phase toward their outer intermediate-density shells. Our goal is to determine level chemical complexity L1517B, which seems than L1498, compare it with other two previously studied cores see if there a evolution within cores. We carried out 3 mm high-sensitivity positions L1517B core: core's centre position where methanol emission peaks (at distance $\sim$5000 au from centre). reveal lower number COMs COM precursors detected respect L1544, also show abundances. Besides methanol, we only CH$_3$O, H$_2$CCO, CH$_3$CHO, CH$_3$CN, CH$_3$NC, HCCCN, HCCNC. Their measured abundances $\sim$3 times larger peak centre, mimicking behaviour found more evolved L1498. propose differences observed between three consequence evolution, being less one, followed by L1544. Chemical these increase over time, N-bearing forming first O-bearing at later stage as result catastrophic depletion CO.

E : the first starless core with no molecular depletion

L1521E seems unique among starless cores. It stands out in a distribution of a ratio (R) that we define to asses core evolution, and which compares the emission of the easily-depleted C 18 O molecule with that of the hard to deplete, late-time species N 2 H +. While all cores we have studied so far have R ratio lower than 1, L1521E has an R value of 3.4, which is 8 times the mean of the other c...

An Accreting Starless Core

We have mapped the starless core TMC-1C in a variety of molecular lines with the IRAM 30m telescope. High density tracers show clear signs of self-absorption and sub-sonic infall asymmetries are present in N 2 H + (1–0) and DCO + (2–1) lines. The inward velocity profile in N 2 H + (1–0) is extended over a region of about 7,000 AU in radius around the dust continuum peak, which is the most exten...

A Contracting, Turbulent, Starless Core in the Serpens Cluster

We present combined single-dish and interferometric CS(2–1) and N2H (1– 0) observations of a compact core in the NW region of the Serpens molecular cloud. The core is starless according to observations from optical to millimeter wavelengths and its lines have turbulent widths and “infall asymmetry”. Line profile modeling indicates supersonic inward motions vin ∼> 0.34 km s −1 over an extended r...
